Case study : Remortgage

Divorce Settlement with bad credit

Mrs Given

Mrs Given had recently separated from her husband, as he had run numerous debts with many companies of which many had now turned into joint defaults and CCJ's , which amounted to over £45,000 and the interest on these loans was being paid via a debt management company with no end in sight.

However, as part of her divorce settlement with her husband their solicitors agreed that Mrs Given could have the house on condition all their joint outstanding debts were settled in full. After negotiating with their creditors the outstanding amount owed to their creditors was reduced to £30,000 as long as they were all repaid in full within a 30 day period.

Mortgage Sense processed the case on Mrs Given's behalf at a rate of 5.89% fixed for 3 years(with no extended redemption penalty) for a loan of £130,000, and she now sleeps easier that their is now no one going to knock on her door any more at different times of the day chasing outstanding loan payments.
