The Mortgage Process

Initial contact

When you call Mortgage Sense you can speak to directly to a fully qualified advisor who will take the initial details of your enquiry.

The advisor will then phone you back to find out more details with regards to your residency, financial situation and credit history to allow them to determine the best lender, and products suitable for you circumstances. In addition, we will discuss what kind of property you are looking to purchase and your financial expectations. This information will then allow your adviser to further tailor the advice to your own personal situation.

Your adviser will then answer any further questions you may have, and provide explanations of mortgage types, interest rates, the mortgage process and the additional costs of buying a home to ensure there are no surprises as you proceed through your application.

Your advisor will then research Mortgage Senses panel of lenders, and using the information from the discussion will recommend a product that is most suitable for your individual circumstances.

If you are happy with the product selected your advisor will then call out to see you or will send you all the relevent paperwork for you to consider all your options.

When this paperwork is returned a case manager will be allocated to you who will oversee all the paperwork and will act as your source of contact, should your adviser be unavailable, answering any questions that you may have and assisting your adviser in obtaining your mortgage offer in the shortest time possible.

Mortgage decision

Once you have decided on a mortgage we will process your application, advise you if any additional information is required, and then check the formal offer once it is returned from the lender.
